Illustrator: retro lines

This is a retro line pattern used in illustrator

For this project I used the rectangle tool, duplicate layers, photoshop, move tool and the pathfinder tool. I moved the pieces to connect them all to make the retro line pattern. I am most proud with this project because the lines, line up. If I could do anything different it would be that I used more color for the background. The obstacles I had with this project was fitting the pieces together to make the retro lines. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 7 because the lines are not completely connected and the background color isn't filling the whole background.
